Mats and props are available for your use; however, please feel free to bring your own. We will be practicing Yin Yoga, a less vigorous practice that can easily accommodate you wearing your mask during class as a safety precaution

My name is Kelly DuVall and I am passionate about yoga and it's benefits. The simple, age old, scientific teachings bring us into the healthiest and happiest version of ourselves. I have been practicing since 2015 when I decided I was tired of being tired and I had to focus on my health and happiness in order to bring it to those around me. If I'm not happy with me, then how could anyone else be??? Guess what...it worked! I found so much inspiration from my yoga practice that I want to share it! I completed my 200 hour YTT in 2018. The foundation of our practice is to enhance wellness; work through the body to calm the mind. We'll do this through movement combined with breath and mediation can enhance our wellbeing! We'll begin to create an understanding of the interdependency of all these aspects in your personal health.
Yoga is a great way to improve your endurance in other physical activities. After a run, or heavy workout, yoga will help your body relax while stretching, strengthening, and lengthening the muscles you were just working on.
Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Focusing on your breath during practice is key to staying in tune with your mind and body. The Yoga Practice in Georgetown
You've already paid for your class and stinky weather is raining on your parade...no problem! Your payment will be credit for a future class.
1. Avoid heavy creams and oils before class as they can cause you to slide on your mat.
2. Bring your attention without judgement to what is happening your own mat.
3. Be open and be present.
4. Allow yourself to be uncomfortable as long as there is no pain, numbness and/or tingling while in your pose.
5. Be kind to yourself. Listen to your body. Child's pose is always a go to in class for a moment of rest.
6. In joy!
